Chapter 166
رﺎﻬﻨﻟا لوأ ﺲﻴﻤﺨﻟا مﻮﻳ جوﺮﺨﻟا بﺎﺒﺤﺘﺳا بﺎﺑ
The Desirability of setting on a Journey on Thursday in the Early part of the
Day
956 -
َﻠَﻋ ُﷲا ﻰّﻠَﺻ ﱠﻲﺒﻨﻟا ﱠنَأ ، ﻪﻨﻋ ُﻪﱠﻠﻟا َﻲﺿَر ، ﻚﻟﺎﻣ ﻦﺑ ِﺐﻌآ ﻦﻋ
َمْﻮَﻳ َكﻮُﺒَﺗ ِةَوْﺰَﻏ ﻲﻓ َجَﺮَﺧ ﻢﱠﻠَﺳو ِﻪْﻴ
ﺲﻴِﻤَﺨﻟا َمْﻮَﻳ َجُﺮْﺨَﻳ ْنَأ ﱡﺐِﺤُﻳ َنﺎَآَو ، ِﺲﻴِﻤَﺨﻟا
.
ﻪﻴﻠﻋ ٌﻖﻔﺘﻣ

ﻦﻴﺤﻴﺤﺼﻟا ﻲﻓ ﺔﻳاور ﻲﻓو
: »
ِﺲﻴِﻤَﺨﻟا مﻮَﻳ ﻲﻓ ﱠﻻِإ ُجُﺮْﺨَﻳ ﻢﱠﻠَﺳو ِﻪْﻴَﻠَﻋ ُﷲا ﻰّﻠَﺻ ِﻪﱠﻠﻟا ُلﻮﺳر َنﺎآ ﺎﻤﱠﻠﻘﻟ
«.

Ka`b bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (PBUH) set out on Thursday for the
expedition of Tabuk. He liked to set out on a journey on Thursdays.

ﻪﱠﻠﻟا ﻲﺿر ﱢﻲﺑﺎﺤﱠﺼﻟا ﱢيِﺪِﻣﺎﻐﻟا َﺔَﻋاَدَو ِﻦﺑ ِﺮْﺨﺻ ﻦﻋو
َلﺎَﻗ ﻢﱠﻠَﺳو ِﻪْﻴَﻠَﻋ ُﷲا ﻰّﻠَﺻ ِﻪﱠﻠﻟا لﻮُﺳر ﱠنَأ ، ُﻪْﻨﻋ
:
»
ﺎهِرﻮُﻜُﺑ ﻲﻓ ﻲﺘﱠﻣُﻷ ْكِرﺎَﺑ ﱠﻢُﻬﱠﻠﻟا
«
، ًاﺮِﺟﺎَﺗ ٌﺮْﺨﺻ نﺎآَو ِرﺎَﻬﱠﻨﻟا ِلﱠوَأ ْﻦِﻣ ﻢُﻬَﺜَﻌﺑ ًﺎﺸﻴﺟ ْوَأ ًﺔﱠﻳِﺮَﺳ َﺚﻌﺑ اذِإ نﺎَآو
ىﺮْﺛَﺄَﻓ ، رﺎﻬﱠﻨﻟا َلﱠوَأ ُﻪﺗرﺎﺠِﺗ ُﺚﻌْﺒَﻳ َنﺎَآَو
ُﻪُﻟﺎﻣ َﺮُﺜَآو

لﺎﻗو ﱡيﺬﻣﺮﺘﻟاو دواد ﻮﺑأ ﻩاور
:
ﻦﺴﺣ ٌﺚﻳﺪﺣ

957.
Sakhr bin Wada`ah Al-Ghamidi (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH)
said,
"O Allah! Bless my people in the early part of the day (morning). Whenever he dispatched a detachment or an
army-unit, he would dispatch it at the beginning of the day (soon after dawn). The narrator, Sakhr (May Allah be
pleased with him) was a merchant, and he used to send off his merchandise at the beginning of the day. So his trade
flourished and he made a good fortune.
[At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud].
Commentary:
The two Ahadith mentioned above point out the desirability to set off on a journey, business trip,
Jihad or anything like that.
